Much better than wrangler plus

"I am a large woman and I hate those ""stretch/tummy tucking/fall apart instantly"" jeans. I purchased some plus sized wrangler all cotton and was very disappointed with the shape of the Jean, plus they only had 1 option in a 20 or higher. The dickies all cotton jeans fit and look great, there are several options and after 5 wash /wear cycles they are still shaped and fit like brand new I love them. Dickies will be my new go too Jean company infact I already ordered two more pairs"

the best fitting plus sized jeans I own

"I am a large woman and I am not a fan those ""stretch/tummy tucking/fall apart instantly"" jeans. I have been looking for plus sized 100% cotton for many months. I purchased some plus sized jeans from another company and was very disappointed with the shape of the Jean, plus they only had 1 option in a 20 or higher. The Dickies all cotton jeans fit and look great, there are several options in plus sizes, and after 5 wash /wear cycles they are still shaped and fit like brand new I love them. Dickies will be my new go too Jean company in fact I already ordered two more pairs"

Dickies, Industrial Carpenters

"These jeans get better with age. They have to be washed several times because the length shortens as you wash them. So really they come way too long to just put on and wear. Also, the cut of the jeans has a high waist in the front and in the back it leaves a gap."

Solid AND stylish

"I install landscape projects for a living, and I'm always in need of a jean that's durable, comfortable, and long-lasting. And truthfully, I want my work jeans to fit well and look good. The Dickies Relaxed Fit Industrial Carpenter Denim jean does it all - and they're AFFORDABLE. Now I need Dickies to make'em in assorted colors (black, gray, faded, etc)!"

Disappointing

"I bought these carpenter jeans to replace an old, finally worn out at the knees pair of Dickie carpenter jeans that are my absolute favorite work pants. The new jeans will never come close to that status. First, it was annoying that they arrived about ten inches longer than reasonable. I'm 5'5"" and 115 lbs - pretty darn average. But these were too long to turn up, so added to the cost of the jeans is the cost of alteration. Then, after they were hemmed I discovered what wasn't obvious when they were way too long, and that is the one of the inseams is very skewed, running down the front of the leg from a few inches above the ankle on one leg. And they're too wide at the waist. By now you're no doubt wondering why I didn't return them. Well, I had already paid the cost of return on two other styles that I had ordered at the same time + I now had the cost of alterations into this pair, so I figured keeping them was the only way to salvage the now significant investment I had in the jeans. But it's not much of a salvage, since I never wear them."
