Not what they used to be maybe not worth the price

"I needed to buy new socks and Kohles no longer sells the type I like, so I bought these. They seemed to be pretty good socks. I then went to add more to the collection about 6 months later but couldn’t find them in the store. I ordered them from this page. I think I am being generous with the 2 stars. I bought these socks (2 sets) about a year ago thinking they would be perfect for me. I am on my feet a lot when I teach (only a few days a month). I need a sock that is comfortable and durable. I found that these are now all but worn out, holes in the heels and toes and I have tossed most of them away. I need to replace them and hate having multiple types of socks in the drawer. So, I wanted to see how much it would cost to replace them. Now seeing the price of $15. 99 for only 6 pairs, it is a bit too much for the quality, especially if I must replace them every 6 to 12 months. The newer socks are cheaper than the first ones I bought. So what should I do, buy socks I know are not going to last long and are a bit pricy, or try to find other sock that might not fit as nicely? Hey Dickies, any advice?"

Much more plastic fiber than advertised

"Moisture Control Quarter Socks, Size 6-12, 6-Pack . . . - Item ordered from Dickie's website July 23 2025: Material & Care: ""78% Cotton/19% Polyester/2% Spandex/1% Nylon"" - Item received: ""63% COTTON, 36% POLYESTER, 1% SPANDEX"" We were looking for something with no plastic fiber if possible. That seems impossible with short socks, so settled for 20% -- or so we thought. When the actual socks arrived, the label shows double the amount of plastic fibers than what was posted on the website. Hate to waste precious time processing a return for six pairs of socks, but we never would have bought these if they were properly described. This is terrible information on your website, and a big disservice to your customers. Very angry and disappointed."
