Comfortable but runs big

"I have always worn a size 8 so that's what I ordered but after wearing my shorts for a few hours I don't need to unzip them to get them off, just pull them down! Unfortunately my phone in the nice phone pocket also pulls them down so I am thinking of sewing two darts to make the waist snugger. I'm an old lady who does not carry a purse (22 years now) so my identification cards are in a pocket as well as a handkerchief and tissues for my frequent sneezes so I really appreciate all the pockets which is why I ordered these in the first place. I live in hot Phoenix, AZ so shorts are essential. When the weather is not so hot, I walk 1-2 miles daily and during the hot summers I exercise at home with Silver Sneakers so these are basically 'work out shorts' and work well for me."

Would be fine if not for the size

"When ordering I was between the size 2 and 4 because of my measurements, but decided to go with the 2 because I thought I’d rather them be too small than too big. To clarify my waist measurement is about 29 inches. But when these came it turned out I actually have what feels like 4 extra inches of fabric in the waist. If I want to put even my phone or wallet in a pocket, I need a belt to keep them from falling down. There should absolutely be smaller sizes on this, I can fit size 4 or up to 6 in other brands comfortably, a size two should not be falling off of me. Other than that, the pockets all seem good quality and these would probably be my #1 work shorts if they didn’t fit so terribly."
